Appreciating China’s Engineering Achievements as Global Role Models
Situation: This project explores how China’s engineering marvels embody universal values such as innovation, perseverance, and sustainability, and how these achievements serve as role models for the world.
Step 1: In groups, students research China’s engineering achievements highlighted in the unit. Analyze the values they embody and their impact on society.
Step 2: Develop a presentation outline based on the research findings. Structure the outline with an introduction to China’s engineering achievements, detailed case studies of 2~3 key projects, and a conclusion. Write the first draft of the presentation script.
Step 3: Revise the presentation script based on peer feedback, focusing on clarity, engagement, and effective use of multimedia elements.
Step 4: Deliver the final presentation to the class, demonstrating a deep understanding of China’s engineering achievements and their global significance.
