1. Animals need to stay safe from predators and they have many types of adaptations to stay safe and alive. Some animals are camouflaged, several have different types of protective shells and still others display spines to look scary, or use bright colors to show they are poisonous.翻译

2. Camouflage

Animals can also use various body parts as methods of defense. Some animals use their teeth, horns and claws to defend themselves. Another method of defense using body parts is using a shell like a turtle. The turtle can pull its legs and head inside the shell and close up the shell tightly so nothing can get inside!
